Description
I painted this while going through a hard art time for me. I was also very sick during this painting which probably also contributed to how it came out. I really love the blend of colors and really want to do another one maybe about a positive side affect to dreams.

Originality Technique
ImpactLovely picture. Surprised it hasn't gotten more love than it has already...
Vision: 5/5- The colours match your feelings perfectly. The reds and pinks convey a feeling of illness, coupled with the nightmarish effect given by the purples. The black marks are scary, and the light centre conveys a sense of hope; a way out of the nightmare.
Originality: 4/5- Although I have seen things similar to the painting (eg. the 70s Doctor Who opening), none have conveyed a similar sense of dread and horror.
Technique: 4/5- Clearly you have a lot of skill with a paintbush. The dreamy brush strokes create a nightmarish yet beautiful texture.
Impact: 4.5/5- A rather breath taking picture. The blues really catch your eye, and said eye is led spiralling down towards the light in the middle. The black marks persist, giving you an eeire feeling that you are being watched as you gaze into the light...
